Description :

Two types of manufacture :

  • Flexible tube carried out with a PVC or rubber fabric crimped in a zinc steel spiral (*)
  • flexible Tube carried out with a glass fiber impregnated with fire-resistant neoprene also crimped in a zinc steel spiral (*)

Choice of color: Black, gray or white.

* On request the interior spiral is manufactured out of stainless steel or galvanized..


Applications :

Two products :

  • AEROFLEX PLUS - STANDARD :
    Ventilation air conditioning in construction bound for the individual and grouped habitat, the offices and the trade. Dust extraction equipment in industry, Systems of diffusion of hot and cold air, gas, the vapors...
  • AEROFLEX PLUS - NOT-FLAMMABLE :
    Product made out of matters not-flammable (MO). Ventilation in particular in the workshops of welding. Systems of de-dusting of grinding machines, evacuation of polluted air of vapors and aggressive gases. Non flammable super quality is certified by "VERITAS" for its application in the construction of ships.

Characteristics :

Air conditioning and de-dusting, of many advantages :

  • Extreme flexibility with its radius of curvature equal to the 2/3 of its internal diameter,
  • Excellent handiness and adaptability allowing a diversity of configuration of installation, the pipe preserving its nominal diameter,
  • Easy bending with the hand, it can preserve the form given,
  • Very good absorption of the vibrations,
  • Amplitude of temperature : :
    • -25°C à + 75°C pour l'aeroflex-standard.
    • - 40°C à + 150°C pour l'aeroflex not-flammable
  • Extra-light : 1 m/l, Ø 80 mm = 600g
  • Without odor
  • Easy of employment, handling and transport.

PRESSURE LOSS (*)

Example of calculation for right tubes :

For an internal diameter 180 mm, a 1,6 m length and a flow of 500 mVh, either a pressure loss of 3 X 1,6 or 4,8 Pa.
In this example the pressure loss will be 3 Pa per flexible meter of tube.

Example of calculation for curved tubes :

The mode of calculation of the pressure loss implies the determination preliminary fictitious length of the tube curved to the diameter are equivalent the pressure loss will be identical to that of the ray in question.
